Motel a Piney Woods

“Only problems I saw they need to put a non slip bath mat in tub..it was vey slippery and i Liked to fell. Nice little motel for size of town.”

“I will not stay at this place ever again. Yes the rooms were clean, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the stuff we had to deal with. For starters, we were supposed to have a king bed and after we got there, and they finished cleaning the room we were supposed to have, and told us it was OK to bring our stuff in, they decided to change us to a room with double beds so my husband and I had to sleep in separate beds during our stay. Then they tried to make us pay a deposit that we were not...

“We just needed a clean, close place to the lake. They take pride in their hotel. This is a family owned business, and they were so nice and accommodating. Their dog, Gordo was a pleasure to hang with, too. Support this place.”

“Good location by the lake. Room was clean and the owner was responsive when we had questions about the area. No cable TV (that we saw), so be prepared to bring entertainment for those quiet nights. Also, hot water was limited. Aside from those couple of items, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we are back in Texas.”
