Hotel a Qualla

“I booked a room on Expedia as a non-smoking king size room. When I checked in they gave a smoking room king size and was told that since I booked through a third party this is what I had to take. Not thrilled and the room and floor smelled terrible. Room service was not offered so I had to beg the staff for clean towels and wash clothes for the second night. Overall the hotel and casino was nice but not thrilled with the resort fee charges that everyone seems to be getting away with nowadays.”

“The front office at check in and check out was great. The room was ok, carpets were dirty and had unknown splatter marks on the walls. The bed was good, pillows were great and the shower was good. The toilet didn’t flush properly. Was only a one night stay, but I would not come back.”

“I was enchanted by this property. Having a pool, bar, restaurant was much less important than sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch with a blanket. The property was beautiful. I really enjoyed talking to the manager. He was very helpful and gave me information on the history of the property. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. I will be staying here again when in Waynesville. An absolutely beautiful property.”

“This is an older motel, but it has been pretty well maintained. Some of the repairs (drywall) were a little on the shabby side, but overall pretty decent. Breakfast was basic, but good. The best part of this motel is the view. Beautiful mountain views greet you every morning. Very reasonably priced.”

“The Balsam Mountain Inn was a most wonderful place to stay!! EVERY single staff member could not have been more helpful!! To sit on the porch and relax and look at the view was an experience all it's own....sooooo relaxing!! Coffee was a local brand and tasted amazing, along with the pastries. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the long, hot shower was refreshing. The Inn was close to restaurants downtown and just a shirt trip! You will not be disappointed! Please support this...

“Relax Inn was just what we wanted for a stay in Bryson City. It was small and cozy with everything we needed and obviously had been updated with a great shower, very comfortable bed, and great WIFI/TV service. We were within walking distance of downtown and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. If we'd had more time, we would definitely have made use of the rocking chairs outside our door while drinking coffee. We would definitely stay here again if and when in Bryson City.”

“Would been great but it took 20 mins and I kid you not 20 mins for the water to get hot. We moved the chair in the corner by the table and all underneath it and behind it was full of dead bugs where the maids had not bothered to pull out and sweep behind of underneath it. My nephew was 4 doors down and went to take a shower but had no shower curtain. Seems that this place is going down hill a little since new owners took over.”

“When I first arrived into room ,the floor was not swept,dead flies on window sill,curtains that were not hung properly holes in curtains. No outdoor seats or table like every other room had,had to take next room over when they left.Day 2 toilet was plugged had to ask for plunger and do myself. I was told at check in I would have to ask for clean towels so I knew that.But being reserved for 3 days should not have to ask for more coffee or cups. TV very small to see from beds. I was never asked...

“There was a beautiful view outside on the deck, however our room faced the parking lot on the first level. We could not open our curtains because of a direct view into our room”
