“The adjoining room walls were not soundproofed. The guests in the next room spoke very loudly after 10:30pm. I had to put a pillow over my ears to block out their conversation. Otherwise, the room was clean & the bed was comfortable. However, the Kitchen extractor fan was below our room & quite noisy when in operation. ”

“We loved Royal Oak and the thoughtfully designed spaces. Our room was extremely clean and also had a very nice bathroom accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed walking around the area, Kearsney Gardens and quick train to Dover area. The pub was fun and great food. We felt like locals by partaking in the Easter trivia night!! We knew this ahead of time and had no issues, but for your planning purposes-- the rooms are on the second floor above the pub area. Breakfast was very generous servings and...

I needed to leave earlier than breakfast was served, so was provided with a breakfast hamper, which was absolutely wonderful! Very, very good service in the restaurant too. ”
