“Immediately after checking in, we went to the room. I don’t know how else to describe the room other than it was filthy, disgusting and smelled. The tub was so heavily stained brown with a filthy shower curtain and the soap tray was a disgusting mess. The headboard above one of the beds was so so dirty, stained and had initials carved into it. The smell of the room…..disgusting. “This is a pretty tired property that has fallen behind on basic upkeep. The breakfast is very minimal with corn flakes and English muffins the stand out items. Definitely protein-free fare. No housekeeping service at all and the toiletries are below basic.”

“Beautiful porch, overlooking the north end of the beach, with tables & chairs for guests. Two buildings, we stayed in the back 3 floor walk up. The rooms were clean & well kept with balcony & chairs outside your door. Motel staff was friendly & helpful. We will return.”

“The location is fantastic. It is dog friendly which is wonderful. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. Plenty of parking for each room. It met my 1 overnight need but what I thought could be better are room cleanliness - it was dusty and had funky smell (maybe from the a/c), bathroom was very clean, it’s a very simple basic room with no thrills. “POSITIVES: Breakfast choices were reasonable for a continental breakfast Beds were comfortable but our room was in the process of being renovated Staff was helpful NEGATIVES: - The property is a MOTEL (not a hotel) and this is clearly stated on the sign leading to the property - There is NO RESTAURANT on site despite the Expedia ad saying there is - The motel is located next to a very busy highway on one side and a much quieter street on the other. “We loved our stay! Room was sleek, modern, and clean with super comfortable beds and a great minimal decor. Shower was gorgeous, but could be tricky for anyone with balance issues to use since it’s tiny with glass doors. Very quiet at night after 10, even close to the street area. Our room had a side view of the ocean, and it was lovely to be so close to the rocky beach. The sandy beach was a 5 minute walk. The heated outdoor pool was beautiful, pristine, and very comfortable temperature....
