“Room one was fine until I got to the bathroom. The shower drain was broken and there was a huge wad of hair in the drain. The rust covered the tub and screws were missing from the hardware. I asked maintenance to come up and help and they rinsed the hair said the shower was fine and left. I asked to switch rooms. The next room smelled like mildew and the soap dispenser in the bathroom was covered in green slime. The THIRD room was okay except the mini fridge didn’t work. ”

“We were greeted by James at the front desk, who was beyond pleasant! Thank you, James! The room was clean, but in need of repairs. The HVAC unit was making noises all night which make it hard to sleep. All in all, we had a good stay.”

“We've been visiting this hotel for many years. It has a path in the back leading right to buttermilk falls State Park, which is huge highlight. But the hotel did change ownership in 2024, and it seems it's still finding it's stride since then. There were renovations last year, which we were excited to see. We found the resulting lounge well done but quite small. The lobby is nice but not a huge change. Seems they need to work on the rooms... our room needed a new shower fan and toilet seat...
