“Everything was great except the pool. We were looking forward to enjoying the adult only hour but there were several routy kids from 3 different parties there. The front desk told me I should have come up there and they would have sent security. I'm not going to the front desk in my wet bathing suit, freezing cold. They should have security routinely check out the pool at 9:00 or 9:15.”

The one highlight was the beautiful walking path behind the hotel along Seneca Lake, which provided great views and was the best part of the property. Beyond that, there were several issues. The elevators were extremely slow, and on multiple occasions we chose to take the stairs. Upon check-in, the safe in our room was not functioning. We reported the issue and requested a replacement, but despite being told it would be addressed, no replacement...

“This is an extremely well-run hotel. The rooms are modern and spotless. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is right in the middle of Cornell University so you feel immersed in the campus. If you reserve a view room, you'll get a great view of the campus. I would go back there in a heartbeat. And don't forget to walk down to Collegetown Bagels -- the food there is fantastic (way more than just bagels).”

“Lovely room with plenty of space. I love coming back “home” to Auburn as this is where I grew up. We had our wedding reception there almost 43 years ago! A few of my brother’s (Phil DelloStritto) paintings hang up in the restaurant area so it makes it even more special since he passed away several years ago. “My husband and I came here for our baby moon. The trip started off rocky when we came to our room and the balcony door wouldn’t open. Not a problem, they put us in a different room. However this room did not have the view that we paid for and it was a bit smaller. It also took the bellhops about 2 hours to move our bags from one room to the other. Then night one we did not have the greatest sleep because the mattress and pillows were not comfy at all. I’ve stayed at cheaper places with better...
