We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary and appreciated the extra touches and hospitality from inn keepers Cherie and Dean. Great breakfasts, lovely happy hour on the front porch with wine and cheese, fresh flowers and fresh-baked treats! We go to Asheville periodically as we live nearby. “The building is a very cozy, historic hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. The squeaky, antiquated floors add to the charm, but aren't for everyone. With a blend of modern deco while staying true to the 1924 bones, it's a beautiful place. Hope to stay again sometime soon. ”

“Great location and amenities. Loved the cafe/bar and snacks and toiletries provided. Black Mountain was great for local shopping and restaurants. We stayed in the attic with 2 bedrooms and it was a beautiful big space. The only suggested improvement is more comfortable couch and mattress. Would definitely stay here again.”

“It was great experience. Spacious and clean rooms, beautiful courtyard. The front desk was very attentive and respectful. I went with my kids and parents and they all had fun. It wasn't very crowded, we expected it to be due to the holidays but it was still pleasant stay. It is close to the downtown, like 5-10 minutes away from the main town area so that was a good advantage. ”
