Hotel a Riverside

“While checking in I had to wait 45 mins just to check in because there was no one at the front desk. The first room we were assigned to had German roaches in the room and we had to get moved to the other side of the hotel after being offered to get moved right next door where we literally saw a German roach. I was disappointed in this property.”

“A very nice hotel that I’ve never stayed in. I chose it because I could get a room with a kitchenette, which was nice for pre-race pasta. (We were there for a 14 mile trail run that finished at the Sheetz behind the hotel.)However, I am glad that I called ahead to ask about pots and pans and plates because they told me they do not have those in the rooms. “The room was 83 degrees at time of check in, couldn't get the a/c to turn on. When we asked the front desk how to turn the a/c on in the room we were told "the air is not turned on" ”

“Great location and view of the river. The staff were also friendly. However, the beds were hard, and the bed comforter/blanket was thin and rough. There was also a musty smell in the room, due to the building's age. The window did not open, so that didn't help with the smell or air flow. There is a desk and chair in the room, but the height of the battered chair was so low, that you couldn't use it to sit at the table (it couldn't be adjusted, either). “Do not even think about staying here I have to say this place is for Hotel I have stayed in my life the picture they post up was from like 20 years the room smelled like smoke so bad I could not even stayed in it I sleeped in the car that’s how bad it smelled waste of your money don’t even think about staying here ”

“The hotel overall is a very cute, trendy, and in a convenient location. But we had a lot of concerns: 1. The fridge had an odor of old food along with stains in it 2. The only mirror is the bathroom sink 3. There was nowhere in the shower to place my own toiletries; also difficult to wash legs without a step of some sort 4. The sink clogs and the water was cloudy, also food was coming out of the drain and there seemed to be an odor there as well 5. Called guest services/housekeeping 3 times...
