“Comfortable stay with the necessary amenities. I would recommend to people as was just what I needed and bonus that it is dog friendly for when I stay again and bring the dog. Clean, welcoming and lovely breakfast in the morning. ”

“This hotel is always welcoming. I like the peace of the location and the absence of the big chain feel. Staff are like family and hotel has character. This stay over Xmas was enjoyable and provided a good base for family visits. Breakfast is legendary and a great start to the day. ( I have one breakfast credit I will be back to claim 😊) Bed was comfortable and shower was good those are the big asks. It has a small bar area that is quaint. “At a first glimpse, the hotel seems a little bit dated. In reality, it is pretty confortable. The room are not too big, but there is everything you need. The bed is a springs one, certainly not the ultra modern memory foam, but not bad. Tidiness is decent. A special mention to the service: all the staff is available and helpful to your needs. “Pub and accommodation was lovely. Really classy yet quirky. Great staff, spacious rooms and stunning dinner. But (randomly) I would go back purely to have their bacon breakfast roll again - hands down the best ever! And mine was gluten free. Simple things but epic! ”
