“We love how laid back and polite all of the staff was. Everyone was pleasant! The pool was clean and the pool area was nice. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. The room was clean. The hallway could use open windows to air out and have some fresh air there. It had a slight musty smell. Other than that, 5 stars all around.”

“A beautifully restored mansion house. Attention to detail and convenience. Sparkling clean and old and grand at the same time. Breakfast amazing with food choices. Delicious and beautifully served. Our own table -no group tables - Staff lovely. Common room set up for guests comfort and convenience with coffee tea water wine and snacks. I would live there if I could!!”

“The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with booking matters (extra night) or trouble with remote control, lending a corkscrew and glass. The pool was great and the breakfast area very open and clean. Breakfast options were predictable, but short on whole grains (oatmeal, breads, granola, etc.) or fruits (a few apples only) in favor of highly sweetened cereals. Overall, a very pleasant stay, convenient to Jim Thorpe town and regional points of interest. ”

“My stay was decent. Only down side was that the fire alarm went off at 2am while me and my spouse were sleeping, causing us to have to stand outside (in cool weather) for 30-45 minutes. Other than that hiccup everything was great”
