Hotel a Sinsinawa

“Great place to stay.”

“Very nice stay. No big deal I needed ice but the ice machine was broken.”

“One thing I didn't like was that since the last time we stayed there, they eliminated the coin vending machines that used to be located by the ice machines. Although we usually bring bottled soda along with us on our trips here, it's nice to have an alternative, although fairly expensive. Our only other option this time was to go down to the front desk and and pay $3 for a lousy 12 oz. can of soda, or go to either the bar and order a glass of soda, or go to the casino to get a small paper cup of...

“Breakfast was excellent! 2 waffle makers, scrambled eggs, bacon, and other cold breakfast foods. Staff were helpful, turned on the slide for us to swim in the morning.”

“Looks like they are going through an innovation. Staffs were nice and the building was clean. Located outside of Dubuque, but still close from the downtown.”

“Great location we could walk everywhere. The pool was closed though they should tell you that on line when you’re booking your room. Was very clean and the staff was very nice.”

“A full selection of items were served for breakfast such as eggs, sausages, cinammon rolls, fruit, pancakes, etc.”

“This is probably one of the best Hotels I have ever stayed at. The entire staff was great. The rooms were clean, the pool and sauna were great, and the breakfast was also fantastic and so was Peg who was making sure everyone had plenty to eat. This was more than your average hotel breakfast. I love this place and hope to stay there again. I hope to try other locations of the Stoney Creek Hotel chain.”

“Staying here was such a surprising delight! You feel like you're traveling back in time to the 1930's when walking into the majestic lobby. The hotel and restaurant staff loved sharing stories about the hotel's history. I'm glad we chose to stay here over a chain hotel while in town for a DCI competition.”

“This is a gorgeous and unique place, in a historic neighborhood whose charm is second to none. Very glad we stayed there! The only drawback was the lack of breakfast which is apparently only on weekends. There should have been a first-rate coffee setup to make up for this, but supplies were short and there was no silverware. Also, no live television in the room, only youtube TV.”

“It White House was on the river and relaxing.”

“Room had a strong smell of urine.”

“Clean. Quiet. Secluded location. Allows dogs for a fee. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaints are that they lock the front doors at night so you have to use the fire exit if you want to leave early in the morning or let your dog out to go to relieve themselves. No staff there before 7am. Also the bed was VERY HARD. My husband liked it but a bit hard for my liking. It's an older property but has been nicely renovated inside. We stayed in the regular hotel not the bio-healing side....

“We did not see staff very much. At the front desk we had to call for help when we checked in and out. At breakfast, no one came to check if more of anything needed to have food added.”
