“This place was perfect for the week. Hot shower, comfy bed and plenty of parking. Would stay again.”

“We only stayed for one night and it was a basic hotel stay. Check in was quick and easy, my room was clean and the air got cold. Got a great night sleep then left early the next morning. It was a basic hotel room. Nothing fancy or frilly, but I paid a basic price for a standard room. As long as it’s clean and serves the purpose, I’m happy. I’d definitely stay again if passing through the area.”

“Small but very new and clean room. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful and respectful. Parking was easy and close to the front door. AC worked great. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants/pubs.”

“My room was clean and quiet and had a very comfortable bed. Parking was plentiful and close to my room. Unfortunately the Wi Fi was out the entire four days of my stay; at least, I couldn’t get the TV to work. I also wish they had hand towels to use by the sink. They only supply small bath towels and wash clothes. Overall this is an acceptable budget stay.”

“Very nice stay. Loved the area. Sat in the cool air on the front porch in a rocking chair after a long day's drive. Frank was an excellent host. Quiet at night. ”

“Linda and Mike were outstanding hosts and welcoming to us. They were accommodating to special diet needs, and anxious to meet our requests. Food was delicious, the sitting area was cozy and our room was perfect. If it were possible we’d give 10 stars. Mike us a tour of the mill and a history of the property that made the whole experience fulfilling. ”

“Really enjoyed our stay. Frenchie was very helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to converse with. Rooms are clean, staff are polite and friendly. We will stay there again when we come back to Franklin.”

“If you are looking to a truly unique experience while staying in Highlands, NC. this inn is a must. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Such an amazing job of decorating the rooms. Truly one of the best hotel/inn experiences we have ever had.”

“The hotel is in a good area, it's close to bojangles and the famous "Haywood Smokehouse". The owners let us check in early which was a plus! The room is old looking, pillows were flat, there was some repairs. Room was clean. We might stay here again.”
