“The hotel and the grounds are beautiful. We arrived late to check in due to our flights being delayed and were great at 12:30 am as if it were 12:30 pm. The room was really large and updated and the outside ground area was a great way to cool off a bit in the evening. The pub and restaurant were both delicious and so not pass up the beignets.”

“The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great after a long drive. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was a good and plenty to of food to choose from. ”

“As non-gamblers, we can't comment on the gambling aspect, but the hotel and rooms themselves were clean and it offered more than your average hotel. We did have a blood stain on our sheets and they offered to move us to a different room, but we chose to get different sheets instead. Free coffee in the morning, but no free breakfast. Free parking, felt safe leaving the car in the parking lot, even in that community. I would not recommend walking around the area, as Wheeling Island is run-down,...
