The property around the house is incredible, plenty of walking trails to enjoy. It feels like your own private wildlife sanctuary. Perfect location if you enjoy birding and wildlife.”

I will not reinvent the wheel by repeating words from our former visit reviews, but I will say that for anyone who loves staying in a well furnished (historical) home with super comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen -- while still being able to bring your four legged friend and still get away from it all -- this is your place.It is certainly our ShangriLa, and we love that Phyllis provides access to such a wonderful dog-friendly home...

“The cabin was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. It was well appointed, clean, beautifully decorated, and located on a beautiful, serene lake. There was plenty of room for our two dogs to run and explore the property. We look forward to staying again!”
