“Nice, comfortable, quiet house which gave me time to write and prepare for a series of meetings this week.”

“Very nice, clean, and spacious home on the countryside. We enjoyed the firepit outside and the house is close to a local (small) airport landing strip. Very fun to watch the small Cessna-like planes land and take off. We were able to sleep 9 in 3 bedrooms and a pull out futon as there was room in the bedrooms to have an extra (air) mattress. The only concern was that the dining room table picture on the website shows an 8 top but it is actually a new table with a 6 top, but we managed as they...

“The house itself was very charming and comfortable but a bit cluttered with lots of knick knacks and glassware. Nice location with easy parking in the alley behind the house. It is on a relatively busy road, but traffic was only an issue during normal rush hour times. The thermostat was set too warm (winter visit) and we were not able to figure out how to lower the temperature - luckily there were fans available in the bedrooms. ”

“Great home near park. ”

“The house was charming, and had everything we needed for our stay. Our only gripe was that the salt shaker was empty. LOL! The location was ideal for walking around town and seeing what Baraboo had to offer! We didn’t need to drive at all during our trip! We all had a fun and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!”

“We had the best time! We came for a little weekend getaway with the whole family and agreed that we'd all love to be back for a longer time. The House was everything we were looking for and absolutely lovely. It was the perfect fit all around. ”

“A great place to stay for access to the driftless area of Wisconsin. Stayed here and fished a lot of the local streams for trout. The place was very clean, and felt like home. Recommend trying the Hi Point steakhouse if you’re in the area. Great food and cocktails. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets also a big plus.”

“We had a wonderful stay— my husband, our dog and I loved exploring the trails around the property. We saw (and heard) a number of birds, including some sandhill cranes. The location was private and serene, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A perfect home base for exploring all the region has to offer— from taverns and breweries to parks. ”
