Hotel a St Hilary

“We didn’t have breakfast so scored a half way mark as we were not able to skip it in this review. It’s an old Campanile hotel now run by a small group so I support them all the way. It’s handy as the brown road signs are still there directing from the motorway. Still looks outdated but it’s being upgraded. Lidl a short walk away for groceries. It’s on a steep hill so watch out if it’s wet or icy. Could do with two pillows but a bath towel came in handy. TV wasn’t much good with reception and...

Molto vicino a Cardiff Bay area, raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti. La colazione e varia e ricca (15 pounds ad adulto). ”

“The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. Camera con vista purtroppo ridipinta di recente, difficile ignorare l'odore… La struttura dispone anche di palestra e centro benessere, che però non abbiamo provato. “Great position in Cardiff downtown. Room was spacious enough and silent but a bit rundown. It probably needs some renovations. Staff was really helpful and kind. Check in and check out were smooth and they also kept my luggage for an additional hour”
