“The stay overall was great! The hotel is old as it’s a renovated former convent, but the renovation was done tastefully, keeping a lot of the original character. The continental breakfast was delicious. Staff was great, very friendly. Upon check in our room AC was broken and were in a rush headed to dinner, the hostess gave us keys as we were out the door for reservations. When we got back she was gone & we swapped rooms and returned the other keys back to the desk. I asked her name but can’t...

“Good place to stay.”

“The air conditioning doesn't work, they changed our room and anyway it didn't work. The heat was horrible, everything else was fine.”

“Walls and carpet are dirty, and smells unpleasant. Front desk is a mess, and sets the expectation for the rest of the hotel. I would not stay there again.”

“No microwave no refrigerator”

“I did not like that this was a 1984/big brother place. All online and too may cameras and sensors. I melted in 100 degrees outside, until I finally got in.”

“Upper level rooms are not well air conditioned, a fan in the room helped. Views are not very impressive out small windows with defective shades. Would be nice if there was at least a small tv with cable in the rooms rather than going to one of two TV’s available for all in shares space. Convenient short walk to St Paul Cathedral & some dining & free parking was a plus.”

“Unfortunately I gave this hotel the benefit of the doubt and did not heed the warnings of others reviews. The few staff members were friendly. The entire property smells like marijuana. The rooms, the stairway, the entrances. We booked 2 rooms, the first one smelled so bad of cigarette smoke we had to switch out. Clearly no staff had checked that room before assigning it to someone who picked a non-smoking room. We had to stay one night because it was too late to change hotels. The next...
