“The method for paying for guest laundry was very poor requiring a $25 deposit with a web site”

“The photos online are not representative of present condition of the property. Tub backed up terribly. Carpet and seating area had major stains. Bedding looked like it might not have been changed, after last room rental. There were several hairs in the bedding when pulling back sheets. Luckily, there was a second bed that seemed better. Add to that, the towels were clearly years old. One had a hole and loose threads hanging off of it. Overall, even for a budget motel, very underwhelming....

“Sign at front desk said rooms are not being cleaned this week. No Kleenex, No Shampoo in shower dispenser, If you want clean towels ask at front desk . Yes it was a cheap price but without services.”

“Very beautiful almost 200 year old home that has been maintained well. Room was super clean and properly stocked with amenities. Staff was super nice and helpful. Close to night life and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.”

“A very nice family owned business. Great location with the casino and restaurant nearby. Just off the New York State thruway. Love having the coffee in the room, comfortable beds. All for a great price!”

“It was a very charming stay with AMAZING homemade cookies and stocked fridge with water and soda to make the stay very "home like". Very easy and simple check-in, and a BEAUTIFUL cooper birch out front that made my day when I saw it!”

“The staff knew that they had no hot water because they told us that they had to close down for 2 days due to no hot water, but they had a repair man in earlier that day and they thought it had been fixed. It hadn't been. They did not tell us this in advance of our stay or when we checked in. We had to find out the hard way - with a cold shower.”

“Plum Point is an absolute paradise. We enjoyed the scenery, food, and drinks. the facility was awesome. our room was wonderful. We will definately be coming back. our only regret is not bringing our dogs. they would have absolutely loved it. It is the type of place where you feel forgotten by the crazy world. I would (and will) recommend to all but kinda want to keep it a secret for myself.”
