“Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. ”

“Horrible! Lost power the one night - they didn’t know why. No storms. It was just the one block. The staff ( one person) was not helpful at all. Horrible customer service. I was there for work, WiFi didn’t work. Never recommend this place. No apologies about the loss of power, wasn’t willing to do partial refund. I’m going to dispute my credit card. ”

“This hotel is unworthy of its rating. The room was dirty, the hotel was old and badly in need of rehabilitation. There was zero green space for our dog, contrary to the hotel photos and site layout.
The front desk manager, Bob, was extremely professional and gracious, but this hotel needs reinvestment. ”

“This hotel seems like it is newer, so everything was very clean & tidy. The welcome desk staff were friendly. It was nice to have a continental breakfast included, as well. The only issue we ran into was that our bed was not re-made/towels were not replaced when we returned at the end of the day. Not sure if ours got missed by accident, and not a huge deal, but we were a little surprised by this. ”
