“We only stayed for one night and it was a basic hotel stay. Check in was quick and easy, my room was clean and the air got cold. Got a great night sleep then left early the next morning. It was a basic hotel room. Nothing fancy or frilly, but I paid a basic price for a standard room. As long as it’s clean and serves the purpose, I’m happy. I’d definitely stay again if passing through the area.”

“Stayed here for one night after hiking Rainbow Falls and Turtleback Falls trail. Great location close to Cashiers where we saw 4th of July fireworks. Room was comfy and clean! Excellent air conditioning! They cooked made to order eggs and bacon and had assorted muffins, bagels, breads, and fruit. Chatted with the owner Julie at breakfast-super friendly! Don’t hesitate to stay here!”

“Staff was great. This is an older hotel, could use refreshing in the rooms. The rooms are musty and feel constantly wet. I would not stay here again.”

“There is both a microwave and a refrigerator in the room, which were helpful. The air conditioner cooled well once I could get it on the desired temp. The temps kept going up and down when I was trying to set it, so it was quite frustrating. There were pieces of what appeared to be dirt on the sheet on my bed, and the carpet was not well-vacuumed. “We really enjoyed our stay! The room was very spacious, clean and accommodating; and being able to have lake views was amazing! If it were more private it would be perfect! It’s next to a shopping center which can be convenient, but takes away from the ambiance. What really detracts from this beautiful place is the train! There is a freight train that is right across from the hotel and it goes by at least 6-8 times during the day, night and wee hours of the morning! Which is not great when...
