Hotel con bar a Thompson Okanagan

“The hotel was beautiful and the pool was great. Unfortunately the staff seemed miserable. Barely smiled or looked at me through check in. Also, coffee bar wasn’t replenished so didn’t get any coffee on my second morning. Not the best experience when you are expecting a nicer hotel. Also, a breakfast buffet was advertised but non existent, only a bar style restaurant near the lobby.”

“There is maybe a change in owner or management because things are very uneven. High-end bedding and robes, nice entrance and gardeners hard at work, but: they had no portable water, but didn’t tell us that until AFTER we booked and paid; our room reeked (musty? mould?), two chairs were visibly very dirty and looked like from a construction zone, and the exterior pane of a double glazed window was broken. Not sure if the mould smell was from the walls or the obvious mould growing in the window....

“It is an amazing setting, nestled and Vineyards with views of the mountains. The restaurant makes very good food, complete with a wood fired pizza oven. The continental breakfast with fresh bread was more than enough food. We would definitely go back again.”
