Hotel a Thorn Hill

“Brand new hotel opened first week of May. Very clean, staff nice, breakfast was good, even the hostess at breakfast was very nice and made sure everything was in top shape. The hotel is in walking distance to shops and resturants, even Walmart is close enough to walk to. Nail salon walking distance, overall I'll stay here again!”

“Clean rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast”

“This was a lovely place to stay for a wedding related trip to Rogersville. It is conveniently located and has wonderful, historic charm. Our room “The Browns” was clean and very comfortable. The check in and check out procedure was easy and the Desk Clerk was very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend a stay here!”

“The room was very nasty. Towels had stains on them. The sheets also had stains on them. I only booked one and left in the middle of the night because i couldn't go to sleep becuase of how nasty and dirty the rooms was. I will never stay here again. Dusty 4 inches thick everywhere. Mold growing on walls under the counter. The lobby looked amazing and super clean. The rooms were not. ”

“Not very clean. Worn carpet, sink drained slowly, toilet didnt flush very well. Lights in bathroom and hallway went out and the woman at the front desk had to reset the breaker. Bed and pillow were uncomfortable.”

“The room was clean and everything was quiet, we had a pet with us. We enjoyed our stay. Loved being able to use the washer/dryer BUT not happy my daughter left her Owala and we remembered it to far down the road called and they said they would call us back after house keeping was done! It never happened. Someone kept the cup! We know we left it in that room!”

“Clean and convenient”

“The property and the room were clean and well-maintained. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was updated. Enjoyed the 50" TV which isn't all that common. Downside: Two night stay, and the only time I saw anyone at the front desk was when I checked in, after waiting 10 minutes in the lobby with the phone ringing. The breakfast was hot and good. I would stay there again.”

“Perfectly fine Hampton Inn. Web sites need to emphasize that there are 2 of them in New Market, and make clear which one you have reserved a room at.”

“Clean and quiet just like the last time we were here. Highly recommended.”

“Honestly it’s a dump. I lived in this town for 20 years and had to go back recently for a short visit. The bathroom shower was awful, the shower head needed replacement the sink had a big gap against the wall, the bathroom fan was super loud, the air conditioner was also super noisy AND they made me pay a $100 deposit when we checked in for damages in the event we broke anything. LOL ”

“Parking sucked due to having other fuests that had big vehicles. Another iss is room service, they showed up early morning before we got up and never came back. We had to go ask for towels. ”

“The whole place was gross! Black mold and unfixed pieces everywhere in the rundown hotel room! Way overpriced for a rundown crappy hotel room”
