“It was a peaceful location, I felt like I had all the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable better than any high end hotel I’ve been to. I actually felt like I could live there it was great! The breakfast was delicious also”

“The Mountain House is unique. It is truly an old house that has been modified to include rooms and a restaurant. There are about 8-10 rooms in the Main House where we stayed. There is a separate building called the Bunkhouse out back. The room was clean but very small and tight. More so that I thought was possible but we got used to it. The air conditioner and TV worked well but the window shades were hard to operate. Our room had a queen-sized bed and it was nice. The biggest challenge was that...

“To start, I thought the staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and tidy, and everything was working in order. I guess if I had one small complaint it would be the.selection for breakfast, a larger selection of fruits and maybe some danish / donuts / yogurt would have been nice, along with a variety of different flavored tea bags.”

“We did not bring our dog but this a true doggie hotel. Rooms were furnished with a large dog bed and bowls. Dogs were well behaved and everywhere. A rooms have a balcony and the inn has underground parking. The Inn had a nice courtyard and a variety of bottles of wine were available for a reasonable price. The Inn is on the main street of town and very accessible to shops and restaurants.”

“We didn't like that the AC outside drain was clogged so the water stayed inside the room and made the carpet soggy so the room smelled musty. Staff said they have no maintenance personnel currently. 🤔”

“The room was new and clean but the mattress was foam and slept like a hammock. Killed my lower back. The room was relatively small and the layout of the counterspace was uncomfortable. When we checked in, the attendant was nice but not helpful at all. She was there to point me to click on a website to check in and that was it. I will not go back to Wells MOTEL. It's not a hotel, it's a renovated motel.”
