“We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Hotel. The location right on the seafront made it easy to enjoy walks and the views, and the staff were welcoming throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the hearty breakfast set us up well for the day. The hotel has a classic seaside charm, and it provided a pleasant base for exploring Whitley Bay and the surrounding area. Overall, it was a very good experience and we would be happy to stay again. ”

“Very basic hotel, requiring refurbishment. The main problem: they offer brekfast using a Gym structure 50-100m away out of the parking. This structure is not suitable for food and the breakfast is very poor and NOT cheap. Apart from this, there is no agreement with the hotel and you have to sign a book each time you enter.
