“Nice place to stay. Super clean and the bed was great! Didn’t stay for breakfast but it appeared to have a good spread. We will stay again if we need to. We will recommend it to family and friends ”

“We went for breakfast at 730 am and no food left they brought more but not much and again by the time we go in line and to the hot food, it was all gone again. We asked staff for more food.as.we had still not eaten. We never did get breakfast...ate somewhere else. There was a bunch of water in the elevator from someone who was in the pool causing a tripping hazzard.”

“For the most part it was good. The issues we ran into was that the pool was quite cold. At breakfast, there was no apple juice, the pancake maker was having many issues working, and one of the hot plates sat empty the whole time. We had booked with this chain previously advertising the same breakfast setup but the other one had much more options. Toilet got clogged very easily in our room ”

“The building is older and not kept up well. The outlet next to the sink didn't work, the TV remote was broken, very noisy bathroom fan, and a number of other small things related to an older building that has not been properly kept up to date. The staff was helpful with some extra towels and the bathroom seemed clean. ”

“Power went out while I was waiting to check in. Not the properties' fault as there was a severe thunderstorm happening. The room was OK until I went to bed. The pillows and bedspread smelled by bad body odor. Very glad I brought my own pillow.”

“We spent only one night at Ruby. Wanted to extend our stay but weren’t able to because of plans the next day. I will be returning to Madison next week and will def stay again. Staff is exceptional. Ambience of the hotel is so warming, inviting and relaxing. We felt as though we stepped back in time for the evening. Very clean, extremely clean. We had to leave at 0600 so didnt get to enjoy the breakfast. The long narrow hallways added to the historic charm. While roaming around exploring all...

“Booked a double queen room, when we got there they only had a single king available. When we got to the room and pulled out the pullout couch there was no mattress. I went to the front desk and was told there aren’t mattresses on the pullouts and was given a pillow and a blanket for my daughter to sleep on. Needless to say we all slept in the king. Why would I pay for a double queen room for 3 of us to share a bed. Highly unsatisfied.”

“All was really well! Room was nice, beds were nicer than most other hotels we’ve stayed at. Used the pool area- hot tub and one of the water buckets didn’t work- but other than that nice for little family. Used workout area- that was nice. The breakfast was a big hit. Only downfall was the very VERY strong smell of weed that lingered in the hallway.”

“Property was very clean. Rooms smelt very clean and were very clean. Pool area was nice. Pool could have been just a touch warmer, but was very clean and didn't smell of heavy chemicals.”

“Clean, in a great location, nice room. My only complaint is- I don’t know what’s on the floor above room 111, if it’s apartments or more rooms or what have you.. but there was so much noise upstairs, and at late hours. It sounded like someone was playing basketball with bowling balls. We had a baby and it woke her up. I do understand that noise is expected when sharing a space but man, it seemed excessive.”

“2 awful pillows. No chair in the room. The dish service didn't get CBS ABC or NBC. The door looked like it had served several tours in Iraq. No water pressure. No shampoo. I'm sad that I chose this place. Spend the extra 30 dollars and avoid this place. Please.”

“The room was very clean, great variety for breakfast, lady at the desk was very efficient. A little issue with parking only because work crews had their trucks and equipment there and they took up a lot of the parking spots. Would be very nice if they could lower the price.”

“Free Breakfast with waffle makers. So cool. Allows dogs and has alot of space outside for walks.”

“Rooms were fairly clean, small,but did the trick. Bathroom shower head not real strong and soap dispenser coming off the wall. No lotion and that is a must if you have a hotttub and pool. Nice pool and hottub that were also clean and refreshing. ”
