“The room was dirty and not clean unfurtnatly.”

“Lovely historic property, but way too expensive (around $300/night) for the experience. Part of the charm is the squeaky floors, steep staircase and no elevator, but the King room was cramped, bathroom was tiny, sink was cracked, carpet was dirty, and parking was two blocks away. The staff was seemed kind of bothered about being there. I’d consider staying again but at maybe at a third of the price.”

“Location made it easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Room was well equipped and bed was comfortable. Only reason for lower rating was the hotel was directly on the street and traffic noise made it difficult to sleep (had to keep windows open due to heat). We loved it otherwise.”

“Oh my. I knew this would be a rough "no other choices" cabin stay, but I can't express how disappointed we were. Upon check in, it said on the door we were emailed a code (I searched all over my emails and Expedia email and found nothing). Had to go to the office which was trashed and disgusting and wait for the host to come out (with his dogs barking at me) and give me the code. The rooms were fairly clean but the beds were COVERED in hairs, which made me wonder if the sheets had even been...

“We had a great stay at Alpenrock Hotel. Everything was clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the amenities were excellent, and the location is perfect—just a short walk to Main Street. We'd definitely stay here again!”
