Hotel a Van Meter

“New hotel just opened in December. Very clean and comfortable room, except for the HVAC unit which made a rattling noise all night. The staff was very friendly. Really enjoyed the game area in the lobby and the pool table. For dinner, we went to Cooper's across the street and the food and the service was amazing. Would definitely stay again! ”

“I would've thought that you would at least get a coffee pot in your room, but NO! It didn't offer any amenities at all. The pillows are lumpy and the bed is hard.”

“Room was clean, but had a very musty smell to it as did the entire hotel. We came in one night after a very long day and there was an entire beverage spilled on the elevator floor. No efforts were made to clean it except a “wet floor” sign. The next morning we get packed up for another long day only to find the elevator was STILL wet and sticky. ”

“Because luke Combs was playing in a town 10 miles away every hotel in the area jacked there prices up witch i understand but if a 70 dollar a night hotel raises prices to 200.00 an night yiu would expect that they would put on a cleaning staff. NOT econo lodge in Ankeny Iowa. Dirty rooms torn up beding and bugs. Stay away unless you like that kina room”

“The room was very clean. I was surprised and disappointed. I hadn’t brought my slippers because I did not know it was a non-carpeted surface, which made it cooler to the person walking barefooted. The staff that I met was superb! Even the housekeeper made an effort to understand what I wanted and very kind about it. I received two tasks to make sure I knew to contact them if needed. “We booked this hotel for the hot tub. It was marked off with caution tape, and the front desk said it was out of order. We were not able to utilize the hot tub as planned.”

“Everything about my experience here was enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to update the clothing iron in room, and maybe update the bathroom sinks. Otherwise, nothing but good here.”
