“The front desk staff was very warm & welcoming. Parking was good. The property has a lot of fun history & architecture -- make sure to read about it in the little room off the lobby. “Love the Litchfield Inn. Had a mix up with the room I initially booked through Expedia and ended up in a different room, but the Inn was very helpful through email and could not do anything about the room mix up because my reservation was initially booked through Expedia; but after some time I needed to put into this, it was taken care of. “Don't get fooled by any negative reviews you read, as my stay at The Alander was one of the best. From arrival to departure, the staff at The Alander went out of their way to make my stay wonderful. I informed the staff the morning I would be there that I would get there late. Check-in was seamless as they provided a code for your room, and the lights were turned on when I arrived.
