“Perfect find fir a few nights away with the bonus of parking in Keswick!!
Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given.
Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it.
Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel.
Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm.

“Great room with lovely views. Nice thoughtful touches of the cakes and coffee. Also liked having the option of putting food and drink into the fridge downstairs which was so welcome in the heat wave. We would recommend and return.”
“We enjoyed revisiting Hunday. Our last visit was 9 years ago.
I was a little disappointed to see Haigh Whisky is no longer served. When we first stayed here, Barry introduced me to Haigh cocktails.
We will revisit when the hotel refurbishment is complete. ”
“There is no lift in this hotel. It’s an old Manor House.
All clean very spacious rooms , beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious. Very dog friendly

“Two night stay for a family gathering, the staff were amazing very accommodating, evening food was great and the breakfast was great, overall a lovely place to stay. ”
“Great B&B quick check in by phoning the number on the door, keys in keybox after owner supplied code,spacious very clean room/beds ,tea & coffee,towels,shower gel,cotton buds & cotton pads (great extra).Great cooked breakfast, very friendly staff, 15 min walk to town centre with loads of restaurants.Free parking at the side of B&B”
“Nice place to stay. Coffee shop not far away and walkable - very nice. Need a car as narrow lanes to get to and no footpaths. Service at breakfast on the 1st morning was slow but that was due to the young girl serving. Not there when we arrived and waited 10 minutes before she appeared. Left dirty dishes on tables when she could have easily removed when bringing other dishes etc...She was friendly enough. 2nd morning, totally different service. Lady on duty was attentive...
“Comodo se siete in auto. Vicino a Keswick e a poche miglia da Grasmere Ambleside e Windermere. Pulito e moderno. Colazione abbastanza ricca ma usano prodotti di pulizia scarsi perché i tavoli erano sempre appiccicaticci la mattina. Nel complesso resta un'ottima scelta. ”
