“Really lovely hotel and good value for money. The beds are really big and comfortable. Free toiletries in the room. Kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits. The rooms were big. We had a ground floor superior room and it had a little terrace outside with patio doors and a chair and table. The grounds of the hotel are so lovely and beautiful. It is a 5 minute drive from Sheringham and was the perfect base for a Norfolk trip. ”

The food was excellent, but not always consistent - I had sea bass on one day which was so delicious (and as described in the menu) that I decided to have it again on my last night, but it was no where near as good - missing the chives in the mash, the dill sauce on the fish and not served with peas all as described in the menu....

“This is a great value B and B. Although over a pub and close to a main road, very quiet. The pub serves good pub meals, reasonably priced and the staff are very cheerfull. Breakfast was good and the rooms are pleasantly decorated and clean. A great place to stop if you are in the area. The atmousphere in the pub was freindly but not in anyway rowdy. ”

Bread source breakfast was delicious! Home made bread source biscuits with their amazing coffee in the room was lovely to have on arrival and again first thing in the morning. Highly recommend, everything was as advertised. ”

“This hotel is immaculate, the room, the bathroom and everywhere else. It is really spotless: from the beddings to the towels. The window shutters and carpet are of exceptional quality! Lots of choices of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room! The small fridge and a hairdryer look brand new as well. Brilliant! “The family room with a double bed and bunk beds for the children was a good size. The hotel even provided a Z bed free of charge for our 6`2" son in case he could not fit into the bunk bed. The food, bar and location are all perfect. The staff were so accomodating as we had a dog with us. Very dog freindly throughout. Unfortunately, the room had no A/C and limited window opening.
