“I checked out after seeing my room. The owner refused to refund my money! The facility was not updated as advertised. The pictures where staged. The appearance of the room was not even close except for the wallpaper behind the bed! I had to drive further down to stay at the Days Inn which was much nicer. Advice to future travels, keep driving! Very dirty!”

“The shower head in room 4 barely spit out any water. The kitchen was closed which defeated the point of it being a bed and breakfast experience. The pool was also not working due to some pump issue which I was unaware of until I arrived. I was under the impression that there was a fully functioning, kitchen and fully working pool. when we got there, we waited about 20 minutes until somebody finally came to check us in after I had to go looking for help.”

Conveniently located between “necessity” store s (markets, Walmart, Lowe’s, fast food, etc.), and the quaint part of town with dining and shoppes. Next to a diner (so-so, but ok in a pinch and if you’re not in a hurry).”

“This motel looks like it's from the 1970's, but we liked the retro feel of the place. When we arrived to check in, there was a police car with its lights on sitting in the parking lot and a used blue exam glove in the parking lot next to our space (just a little disconcerting!) Both were gone when we returned from our function. Our room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. “I've never had very good experiences with this hotel brand. Always a financial issue. The hotel was nothing to write home about and the location was strange and in need of some desperate road repair - potholes all along the path to the parking lot.”

“We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least. “This is the vintage-looking quaint motel you pass at the edge of a town on the two lane and think, "Wonder what that place is like?" Most of the time those businesses are on the downside of their existence and not that appealing. The Fairbridge Inn is different. Neat, clean, quiet and well kept with a comfortable bed and room.. “Good affordable motel. Plenty of parking. Spacious room. A/C worked fine. Everything that’s necessary is available. No coffee machine in the room but you can get coffee (not the best quality though) and hot water at the motel office nearby. One minor issue: GPS leads you to the back of the hotel. Would be good to emphasize that the turn to China Buffet should be taken (maybe I missed it somewhere in the description).”
