“The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We were in the area to kayak the Kickapoo River and the cabin was close to where we launched (about 8 mins). It was cozy to relax in after 12.5 miles of kayaking. We enjoyed sitting outside, seeing wildlife including a deer, and hearing an owl at night. We plan to be back!”

Said that cabin I paid for on Hotels.com was not available. The owners felt bad for me and were going to get me lodging. First, stating they were putting me in a nicer property closer to my destination. But ultimately provided a room in motel further from my destination and way less expensive than what I paid for. “The facility was unsafe and unsanitary. There was a clear mouse infestation, and the odor became unbearable. The lack of running water made the property unlivable. I contacted the host multiple times regarding the water issue, but nothing was done.Additionally, the oven did not work, there were no lights on the outside staircase leading to the bedroom, and there was no lock on the door, creating serious safety concerns.”

“The house was beautiful the scenery was beautiful its such a nice quiet getaway for my husband and i to have some alone time without any kids or responsibilities or schedules. The responsivensss of the host was very fast. The brewery close by was ansolutely amazing food and great friendly people working there. Great experience. ”

“We stayed one night. Very comfortable space in a beautiful rural area and beautiful property. Loved the outdoor patio area and hot tub. First time staying in a VRBO property, and found that side of the equation to be cumbersome. Made the reservation, and then was forced to set up VRBO account to see the street address. Not sure I saw all of the communications leading up to our stay. ”
