The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up.”

The hosts were available to answer any questions we had. The upstairs area was a great place for our 3 children to spend some time relaxing.”

“This listing says cottage but it's an apartment. Be ready to go up stairs to get into it. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything works, but it's not especially well equipped for cooking. The coffee maker does not work. Our checkin was delayed for about 40 minutes when we arrived and we had no where to stay while waiting for our apartment. Wi Fi was very weak in the apartment and TV is like a hotel where there are certain channels available but no way to sign in to your own streaming accounts....

“The cottage was clean and well maintained. There was a short walk to the beach or you could access the free trolley directly across from the cottage to get you where you wanted to go. It was nice not having to drive everywhere. The owners were quick to respond to any questions and provided information about activities occurring in the area over the July 4th weekend. Overall, it was a great trip and I would recommend the cottage to anyone interested in staying in Yorktown. ”
