“Check in was very fsst and the staff on reception were exceptional. We went to our room and were very happy. We had one minor problem - water would not drain from the bathroom basin but after a call to reception, this was sorted out immediately. One other small issue was regarding cleanliness, there is a mirror on the wall which has a decorative leather strap. This strap had thick dust on the top half of it. Other than that, the room was very clean.

I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. “Loved it here! Beautiful, old pub. Spent 1 night, cosy room, comfy bed & pillows, good over-bath shower, lovely room, with the all imprtant kettle & teabags! Had dinner & pud (lovely) lovely pub gardens, loads of parking, right at the end of a lane, so quiet. Service was EXCELLENT! Spent all night talking to the lovely bar staff - (and they were genuinely lovely) and one of their regulars 'Aled' 😃 Finished the stay with a full cooked breakfast, again, service was excellent.

“La stanza è davvero molto bella, arredata con gusto e curata nei dettagli! Nonostante sotto ci sia un pub (e anche molto frequentato), si dorme più che bene. Anche la posizione è ideale, poiché con una breve passeggiata si raggiunge il centro. I ragazzi che ci lavorano sono tutti gentili ed in particolare Michael si è dimostrato pronto a risolvere qualunque problematica si sia presentata!! Pecca solo la pulizia della stanza, un po' troppo impolverata..”
