“We stayed in the Merlot 1 BR cabin, with a queen bed in the living area. Nicely renovated and well-appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. Great lake views. Couch is not really suitable for sleeping on - maybe child under 8. Kayaking was nice. Linens were clean and in great condition. Patrons were friendly, kind and helpful. Fire area was great. Amazing access to the dunes. They are fixing up the place and doing a good job. That retaining wall is gonna be a big one. ”

“We stopped here for a night of sleep on our road trip from Oregon to redwoods national forest etc. For the price this hotel was honestly wonderful, beds are very comfortable, front door lady was awesome and friendly and very helpful, the room has a blackout curtains which is a huge plus, we got a very good night of sleep here. However I have to mention that we were kind of shocked by the crowd around the hotel (near downtown Roseburg) so many drug addicts, homeless etc. it was just so sad and...

“Great place and helpful staff. I wish there had been more staff at the coffee shop. Only 2 people and sometimes only 1 available. Long wait for just a drink and pastry. I believe they were understaffed. There needs to be slip resistant strips in the showers. Extremely slippery. I know there was a shower chair in the handicapped rooms, but maybe grab bars in all the showers also. Very dangerous for anyone.”

I was stressed out and worried about my husband putting me down for it. When he walked up to the counter, she helped me and help me handle it all and very discreetly.
