“In a town as old as Lunenburg, I understood that this property would be historical, but it needs some care. The carpets are so old and are worn and smelly. Our bedroom sliding window was completely broken—we could pull off the lower half but couldn't open it up. The AC was nice to have but so loud and had only high and very high speeds and was right next to the bed, so we turned it on and off all night. With a little care and added theme-fitting decor, this place would be wonderful. Staff was...

“Everything about our stay at the Magnolia Inn was perfect. Our host was so helpful, everything you want and expect for worry free travels. We discovered new villages and beaches nearby. Mahone Bay itself is so beautiful and entertaining, a great location to launch from for day trips. Weather was perfect.”

“The Fisherman’s Daughter is centrally located in Mahone Bay. You can walk everywhere within this quaint town. Cathy is very knowledgeable of the area and makes great suggestions to make sure that you have a good time. Our bedroom, Gulls’Nest, had a beautiful view of the bay. It was very spacious and comfortable. The washroom had an old fashioned free standing tub which made showering an interesting experience. The breakfasts were both delicious and plentiful.”
