Hotel a Beecher City

“I would never go to this hotel! Faucet in bathroom sprayed out side, toilet was stopped up, staff were nice but dressed very unprofessionally. Walls dirty, was a bit worried about cleanliness of the linens. Overall very unsettling environment”

“For what I paid for the room I wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel. The property is a little dated and you see that in some areas like cracks and crevices. But honestly the fastest check in experience in all hotels I’ve been to, quite and honestly don’t have much to complain about! ”

“My room was very clean. The staff was very quick at answering my questions. Parking was great. The heat and air conditioner worked great when I needed to use them. I really enjoyed my stay in Shelbyville.”

“It was average as far as stays go. Ive been to better motels but ive also stayed in worse hotels. Had to ask for clean towels and a new bedspread when we arrived. The room smelled musty and the bedspread was dirty on one of the beds. The lady did get us a new bedspread and she remade the bed. They dont clean or get the trash while your there. We spent 3 nights there so the trash was pretty piled up when we left. I did use walmart bags to at least bag the trash up. Overall I give it a 3 star.”

“We stayed 2 nights. The room was great. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional. Kerrie B went above and beyond to help with a couple small issues. We could not use the pool, closed for cleaning. The breakfast was good at the restaurant. We couldn’t try dinner as it was Sunday so only limited bar food. We will definitely stay again.”

“FULL sized beds- Not Queen. Wasn't aware of this prior to booking. Rooms were great, except for the small beds. It was very difficult to fit a family of 4 with an infant into the "family" advertised rooms.”

“ Carpet was filthy and the room wasn't as nice as pictures made it out to be. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when we asked for an ironing board and iron.”

“The room was clean and bed was comfortable for a quick one night stop before we headed home. Decor was a littke outdated but the price was right. Only complaint is that I searched for a room to sleep 5 and booked this one thinking there was a couch which it didn't have. Roll away cot was also advertised but they only had 1 and it was already in use. Thankfully we had brought an air mattress so it all worked out.”

“Comfortable rooms and beds. Pool temperature is perfect! Great breakfast options. You have to ring the bell on day shift to get a person behind the counter but they do respond promptly. The flavored creamer at the coffee bar needed to be restocked. Overall a wonderful stay!”

“At my request, the desk clerk gave me the quietest room available: one with no one above it or beside it. Before giving me the keycard, he asked if I would use the refrigerator. When I said I would, he told me that the refrigerator in that room had been removed for repairs, so he would bring a replacement. He soon did, cheerfully.”

“Was very disappointed that I had to come to the front desk every night and ask for my door key to be activated. Also was very upset that we were made aware of the pool being closed down. Was extremely upsetting to walk by the front desk from the 4th floor in all our swimwear and nobody say anything.”

“The manager Kerrie was wonderful! We had a couple issues that she did try to fix and even though she wasn’t able to, she did what she could. This is a wonderful place to stay, the staff was super friendly and we will stay again.”
