“We were pleased to be upgraded to a one bedroom suite and we each also received a complementary welcome drink. The staff at Chateau Elan were wonderful as were the restaurant and golf staff at The Vintage. The unit was spacious, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We would rate this establishment and especially its staff as 5 stars plus! Needless to say, we would highly recommend as stay at Chateau Elan as well as the restaurant and golf at The Vintages.”

“I would have LIKED to stay at the Royal. I'd made a booking but ran late getting there. No text message. No email. And no keys or anything in the late arrivals box when I got there. You can imagine how great that felt arriving in a dark carpark, with everything closed, and nowhere to stay. I was lucky to not end up sleeping in the back of my car, but had to suck up paying for a room at another hotel (also closed by the time I got there, but at least there was a bell I could ring). “Spider webs in room corners at floor level, never got the WiFi password asked twice, Water damage to ceiling and the fire alarm went off at 2.00 am in the morning twice within 5 minutes of each burst. The staff were nice and I parked outside my room but a line of pot plants were difficult to maneuver around to get to and from ones car, the pot plants shouldn't be there a massive OH&S issue for guests. Staff were really worried about locking doors and gates which made me & my wife feel...
