“Friendly and helpful ”

“We had a very enjoyable short stay at The Canford. All the staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and friendly (Terry, Ross, Ellie, Lena, Taly). Our room was an Accessible room (although we didn't specifically book one) and was quite large and very comfortable, with a large, well-appointed bathroom. “La struttura è immensa, avrebbe giusto bisogno di una rinfrescata. Essendo arrivati tardi e pernottando solo una notte non abbiamo usufruito dei servizi disponibili, che sono tantissimi: spa, bella piscina esterna (credo riscaldata), sala giochi… Il plus: la bellissima la vista dal bar. ”

“Great two night stay at the Laguna. The hotel was clean and adequate for our requirements. About a 20 minute walk into the city centre/beach. Plenty of car parking spaces. Our only gripe was that the shower was difficult to regulate and alternated from hot to cold and cold to hot constantly.”

“Had a good stay at the Connaught Lodge. We were visiting with some friends so booked 2 rooms and check-in was smooth, apart from there being quite a big queue at the check-in desk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As some previous reviews have stated, the rooms in the lodge are a little outdated and could do with some freshening up (repainting, replacing old furniture etc). “My stay at the hotel was excellent. The room was clean . The bed amazingly comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The bathroom was spacious with shower that was nice and powerful, with a good sized separate bath tub. The tea making facilities were great. The staff were very helpful and polite . I would definitely stay here again.”

Noi abbiamo avuto un problema con il riscaldamento della stanza, dopo vari tentativi di risolverlo, accensione di stufetta elettrica un poco desueta, su insistenza ci hanno cambiato la stanza, più spaziosa e se vogliamo caratteristica essendo in mansarda ma con i letti oggettivamente un poco sfondati.
