“Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub. The rooms we had were lovely although one was a little small due to being upstairs, however this did not detract from my stay as I had it all to myself! Food, especially breakfast was very good. “Trefor the manager was great. Very helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was bright and clean. The facilities were great. The bed was comfortable. The bar and restaurant were nice and I enjoyed the live music and quiz night.”

Great outdoor and indoor space to have a drink. Poole is a lovely area and we thought this hotel was very good value.”
