“It was close to the ports”

“The peep hole in our door was missing, giving you a clear view into the room. The floor in the room was sticky in places and clearly had not been swept. A little over an hour before check out time we got on the elevator with a member of house keeping and was asked what room we were in and when we were “getting out”. I can forgive the coffee machine being broken at breakfast but the rest…100% avoidable”

“The rooms are clean and the staff is incredibly friendly, which is why my family has made staying here an annual Memorial Day tradition. Unfortunately, the building is visibly degrading and urgently needs a remodel. During our recent stay, the elevator failed twice—the doors closed, but it stalled completely for about four minutes before finally moving. “Hotel staff called us about 6 times telling us there were complaints about people jumping in the room. It was only my husband and I, and he fell asleep as soon as we got there. The room next to us had several kids and you can hear them jump. I told staff that when they called; however they still kept calling us. Instead of them going to the room next door they harassed my husband and me.”

“Device was great I booked through Expedia and didn’t have a check in until 4 pm but need it earlier and the front desk staff was able to help me get my room at 12:30 now that’s what I call great customer service! So so thankful for this company and its services and great staff. I think the lady was named Jeriquanna. Young black lady!”

“We had some people in the room next to us that had non stop barking dogs on the first night but the staff handled it and was good from there. Bed was comfy housekeeping does a great job, those guys are great.”

“Room had trash from the last person, as well as a used towel on the balcony. The walls were poorly painted with obvious spots missing. Mattress was thin and cheap. Breakfast was horrendous. Fitness room was used as some sort of “storage.” Whole property smelt and kinda just looked bad. Property looks nothing like the pictures”

“Rosie and Michael were unbelievable- Rosie made us feel at home immediately as we entered the Manor. The location was perfect for the area of Galveston that we were exploring. We enjoyed our visit - so much was because of the George Manor, their staff, and the porches with rocking chairs. We are so thankful we stayed there.”
