“This was a great secluded cabin to spend the weekend! It was an a short, scenic drive to the AT trailhead to hike to McAfee Knob, which was just beautiful! We even passed some thru hikers on the way back! It’s about 30 minutes to Roanoke where we got dinner and walked around. It’s a cute little town. There’s a great store there called Mast General Store that I got lost in because they have everything! The house itself is clean and was equipped for what we needed. They supplied a keurig coffee...

“A favorite!! We returned here for a second stay because of the beautiful setting, the amenities that make a perfect haven for a stop-over on a long trip (refrigerator, pool, coffee options). So thankful for close proximity to quick morning hike (or a long one!).”

“Staff is overworked to the point of exhaustion!!! Bed sheets were questionable at best and the entire experience was not as advertised. The name Marriot was sinamous with excellence and cleanliness, I guess the franchise is going downhill with the rest of the economy. This was not worth the price paid and I would not recommend it at the current price point.”
