“Great breakfast!”

“One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The room smelled bad, the AC was extremely noisy and malfunctioning, constantly changing temperatures and flashing as if the control panel were loose. The bathtub drain was clogged, causing water to accumulate while showering. The worst part was the serious security failure. We left at 6 AM and returned at 10:30 PM to find our room door completely open, facing a public parking lot. The staff admitted they had noticed the open door but assumed...

“Good value for a pit stop on my way to Myrtle Beach.”

“They have the directions off the highway too soon so it is a 45min ride thru back roads. If you stay on 77 there is an exit a couple miles away. This Hampton is privately owned. If you get off the correct exit, there is a company owned Hampton. They don’t want you to know that so they waste your time on the back roads. “Great location. Clean. Staff friendly.”

“The building need a lot of work. The floor was swollen in the bedroom and it made noise as you walk on it. Lots of traffic noise from the highway. Tons of light from outside in the bedroom. It was difficult to understand the personnel.”

“Clean!”

“Very nice old inn. Lots of history and great views!”

“Staff was very nice and helpful The room was nice and quiet and close to stores and restaurants”

“The place was dated but clean. No coffee in the room. Had to walk to the lobby and wait while they brewed more. And the lobby freaked of garlic. All in all it was OK.”

“Great place to stay. Amazing time and couldn’t have asked for a better lot. ”

“A few upgrades we shared w the host. Be much better once WiFi is avail Wish it was known no WiFi was available Nice basic accommodation The greenhouse and garden are great add ons Bed is super comfy GPS directions do not work well.”

“Conveniently located to downtown Galax some food options were walkable. Wish I'd had more time to explore the town but was merely passing through.”

“I love the pond. Fished on and off all day. I did catch some sun fish about 7. Wish there was more lol. The hot tub was great. I just couldn’t read the temp on it the entire number wasn’t lit up My dog had a blast. She was running all over and playing in the water We are stuck in a condo so not much place for her to kick up her heels. Would come back again”
