“Rustic and fun. Be aware there is zero cell reception once you get close. You are indeed in the mountains!”

“Great Breakfast and very helpful staff!”

“Bed, floor and surfaces appeared to be clean, but areas around the bathroom sink needed to be wipped or an attempt to be clean, and the light switches and electrical outlets need to be wiped down. I guess smoking is allowed as there were two ash trays in the room, and there was an odor in the room, possibly from someone smoking.this is the second time I have been to a motel 6, and this was better than the previous motel 6 in harrisonburg. “Staff was pleasant but don’t plan to eat there. Seems very short-staffed & not prepared to host meals. The property is beautiful but hot water is warm only so attempting a bath on a chilly night wasn’t a positive experience. Hope the new owners are able to tighten things up & be able to offer what you would expect for an above-average price per night in that area.”

“GREAT LOCATION - CLEAN PLACE- EXCELLENT STAY.”

“Beautiful resort, friendly staff, excellent restaurant.”

“Breakfast was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable.”

“Very cute cozy cabin in the woods. No bathroom facility in the cabin so be prepared to use compostable toilet about 40 feet away. It’s like a step down from glamping. I loved the animals on the property and there are some decent hikes there as well. Great location and close to Old Rag!”

“The property and rooms were historic and charming. Our room was very private and spacious. Breakfasts were prepared with care and were delicious, with the same offerings each day. The proprietors were very helpful and kind.”

“Lovely big rooms.”

“Property is very convenient to downtown business, shops & restaurants. The suite was very spacious and clean. Modern decor through-out. Staff was friendly & helpful. Would absolutely recommend!”

“This was one of the best stays we have ever had. A truly phenomenal place.”

“Stayed here for a weekend while hiking Old Rag in Shenandoah. Cozy little place that was well equipped with all the amenities we needed! It's conveniently located close to Shenandoah as well as plenty of vineyards. Would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in the area!”
