“It was very nice the front desk lady was friendly the hotel was very clean”

“Cute little room if you want to lay your head for 1 or 2 nights. Comfy bed and clean. Most Places are walkable.”

“Hotel was not well kept. Hallways seemed to not have been vacuumed in weeks. Room was not cleaned well. Furniture was stained.”

“Home was well stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen, towels, bedding, etc. The only thing is that the listing says that it can sleep six people which is possible, but I would recommend no more than five adults or four adults and either two kids on the pullout couch or one adult. There was a pack and play if you had an infant, which could be the sixth person, but definitely would be uncomfortable for two adults to be on the pullout sofa as it’s not a regular pullout sofa with a...

“The house was welcoming clean and so spacious. Me and my family enjoyed every moment. Great area and not far from many of the planned activities. We welcomed the train every day and it did not bother us at all when it passed by. Overall memorable stay here”

“Great backyard and porch. We loved it!!!”

“The house is larger than it appears in the photos and has everything you would need. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and we filled the house with the Bridal party and our family. There is soo much character everywhere in the house. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large, the kitchen had every amenity I could ask for. Our POC for the house, Megan, was soo accommodating. The wedding date shifted by 2 months when the military had other plans for her fiancé, and we were...

“My family and I had a wonderful stay at Joyful Escape. The home looked just as it did online. The property was beautiful and the environment was very peaceful. Everyone that stayed and those that came for our gathering was amazed, some asking how did I find this place. WE LOVE IT!”

“The host was very accommodating and answered all of our pre-trip questions so we knew just exactly what we needed, or more importantly didn’t need, to bring with us. Communication didn’t end there. After our arrival, every time we had a question we had a response within about five minutes. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the grill was brand new! We stayed here over 2026 graduation weekend for Longwood University. The accommodations were perfect for the 11 of us! Only about 15 or 20...

“Amazing hotel. Polite staff and clean rooms”

“A Decent Place to Sleep, but Needs Improvement If you’re simply looking for a place to sleep and come and go, this motel may work for you. It’s definitely not luxurious, but that’s what you would expect from a motel-style location. For the most part, our room was clean, but there were several issues that made our stay less comfortable. The bathroom was our biggest concern. The lights weren’t working properly, several outlets in the room were damaged, and the blow dryer didn’t work. Whenever we...

“It was great!”

“Rooms were clean and modern staff were pleasant and helpful supplied A very varied and good breakfast”

“Only stay if no other options available..”

“likes: new heater worked nicely clean room location price dislikes: poor lighting metal framed bed??! also very small. not appropriate for two adults and should not be marketed as such the complimentary breakfast” is a joke - don’t call it that.”

“Showerhead was great. huge room. very clean. good parking. great location. elevators location was great. pool was the only knock. card didnt work so i reached over. unsure where towels were, no sign. went to front desk, not much help.”
