“The hotel is Literally on the beach, great location. The hotel needs a lot of serious maintenance and upkeep. Badly Stained carpets everywhere, it made the hotel look cheap and dirty. Our bath tub had a huge crack between it and the wall. The a/c was not working properly and we sweated the whole time we were there. Our son’s room was worse, our complaints were answered with excuses. No results. Our next door neighbors in room 308 told us thier a/c was completely off and slept with the door open...

“The room was beautiful, comfortable, and the AC was so wonderfully turned down and cold. We had a wonderful stay. We even got a view of the ocean which is always a plus!”

“The TV in our room did not work. There was not enough parking when we arrived back at our room. Water was leaking from the Neighbor room and I to ours. I was supposed to have a kitchenette and I did not.”

“Location was great. Staff was friendly. parking is not included. It’s a daily rate of $10 for night. The 1818 restaurant downstairs is privately owned is seems to be hit or miss on the reviews. My wife and kid had breakfast there and it was mediocre. They seem short staffed.”

“Truly depends what you pay and expect. Pool has seen better days and barely functions. Sauna is not useable. Rooms showing age for sure. Furniture beat up etc. BUT location and view are as good as it gets in corpus. Stayed here a few times and their pricing is always all over the place. Do not pay more than like 179 to stay here or you will be disappointed.”

“Room was very clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. However, the beachfront access was very dirty. I wish they would keep it clean and maintained. We had to walk far from the hotel to have beech access.”

“Had a great time at the Captain's Quarter. The room and bathroom were clean, and the beds was comfy. We rented a room with a kitchenette, we brought our own cookware but realized we forgot a few things, luckily the kitchen was equipped with everything we neede. We also enjoyed the well maintained pool.”

“Staff was great! Super nice and helpful. The property was nice but we got absolutely no sleep. Very loud with neighbors slamming doors and blasting music at 3 am. Our room smelled. I did have to go buy air freshener. Shower curtain looked very bad on the bottom with lots of stains. From the pics I saw on Expedia it did not look like our room.”

“The noise level on the second floor that has some handicaped rooms was BAD. Not from street noise or people in the pool but the cooling system. It did a great job of keeping the room cold but rattled and roared all night. It didnt get better after I tried to turn it off. On the other hand the staff was helpful with the luggage carts and the breakfast was very nice. I was happy to find that there was covered, lighted parking available for $20 a night because there was a large amount of foot...
