“Our stay at this precious lake house was brief but memorable. It’s minutes away from Petit Jean State Park, which is where we spent our daytime hours hiking. The property was absolutely as advertised on VRBO. Jason, the property owner, was easily accessible, very friendly, and quick to respond when I sent him messages. “This felt like a vacation home, instead of a rental property. The house was very well stocked with little extras that showed the owner uses this house too. For example, binoculars(4 pair), kayaks, life jackets, reference books for local wildlife and insects, plenty of extra household supplies on hand(toilet paper, towels, pillows, etc.) Great place to stay.”

“We had an AMAZING time... It was mom and dad, son and girlfriend and our two dogs. It was peaceful. It was quiet. We absolutely loved that the kayak's, paddles and life jackets were all included. Normally staying on a lake, you have to rent them. If you forgot anything, no worries...there are plenty of hospitalities everywhere. We had a great break away from our day to day.”

“We chose this location for a fishing trip because the home is situated on a beautiful 1,300-acre lake. While the interior was clean and comfortable, the property overall seemed a bit neglected, with items scattered around outside. The house itself is on the smaller side which is fine, but may be slightly overpriced for what it offers.Additionally the 200 cleaning fee felt excessive—especially considering the length of stay, the size of the home and us cleaning up after ourselves.
