“Room was clean and had was I needed. Nothing fancy but great room for the price. Easy to see from the lake and well marked on US 23. Boat ramp was located fairly close by and the grounds were well maintained even before peak season. Stephen was helpful in pointing out the area and gave me some Long Lake fishing tips.”

“We were charged an additional $5 at check in for amenities. Not a big deal but…there was no breakfast food at 9:40am and the gal was mopping the breakfast area closing it up and was rude when I asked if more food would be brought out. If you are going to start to charge additional for your amenities, at least have them available. Not cool Holiday Inn. Not cool. ”

“This beautiful, well maintained property. The cabin is beautiul, the fireplace is cozy and the hot tub overlooking Lake Huron is a beautiful place to relax. This place is great because there is room for many people to gather and not feel crowded. There is also a gameroom with fun things to do for everyone. There is also a beautiful view from every window. The hosts were also great. ”

“The property wasn’t bad for what it was but could have been cleaned. Trash in bathroom trash can still and wasn’t vacuumed”

“The checkin was easy and the kitchen facilities, bedrooms and bath were clean, well stocked and very accommodating. Will definitely stay at 40 WINKS again .”

“The room was absolutely terrible. There was urine on the toilet seat, the bedding was dirty with pubic hair on the sheets and blankets, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed in awhile. I found dark curly hairs in the mini fridge along with a half drank 2liter of pop, the shower was also dirty with lots of curly hairs on the floor of the shower. I had to go and get bleach and disinfect the whole room. Would never recommend this place to anyone!”

“Beer cans and cigarette butts all over the sidewalk and parking area directly in front of the room. It was obvious that they had been there for some time. The room was adequate. We needed a place to lay down and sleep for the night and for that, it was sufficient. The bedding was old...the pillows old and hard. It would be nice to have a little better linens and pillows. Not a lot of options in the area...they should try harder.”

“Kris was great! The room was nice and well maintained. Weloved the location and had a great time during our stay!Our 6-year ild loved being across from the beach, park and splash pad! We also enjoyed Pompeyos Mexican restaurant across the street.We'd stay again¡”

“Room was small but adequate. Bathroom very small, shower extremely small, no place to set things except on window sill. Beds very comfortable. Check in was virtual, would have been nice to meet owners. Property was beautiful as well as clubhouse. Parking lot could use some painted lines, but we were one of three guests there at the time. Id stay again if i could get a lake view room with 2 beds.”
