“Nothing like the pictures. Everything is a confusing mess. Buildings scattered around town. Rooms were dirty. Crumbs in the beds. Entire building smelled like weed.”

“The Riverview is spectacular, the hot tub and indoor pool were really exceptional for a hotel. It is right on the Lake walk within walking distance of the main street in town. Altogether a very nice stay. It is especially affordable in the off-season.”

“Checking in was down when we arrived. They took us to our room and then made us come back to lobby. Called later for keys and payment. $100 a day fee/hold that was not listed on Expedia. Refundable if everything was ok?? Our phone did not work the whole time we were there. No book with introduction of property. No lists of things to do or on property restaurant. They didn't clear our room last night.”

“Good stay for the money..”

“False advertising! They heavily promoted inflatables on the lake and free use of kayaks/watercraft, neither existed although it was June and 86 degrees. Front desk had no explanation, my emails to the company received no response. Yet they charged a daily 'resort fee'. Room and grounds were gross. On entering the room, there was an intense chemical smell, the floor was oily and sticky. Running a towel on the floor resulted in a thick brown residue. Running the taps produced a mold...

“Good hotel for the price. The staff provided great service, and it was nice to have a small water park/aqua center for the kids to enjoy. The only downside is that many areas feel outdated and could use some renovation and refreshing. Overall, a pleasant stay and good value for the money. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆”

“They had a problem with the Internet I didn’t have for a little over a day so I called. They sent somebody to fix it then this morning I went to turn on the TV same issue. I rebooted the box like I was shown by staff and it did not work so that was frustrating and the room smelled very musky and almost like mildewy.”

“Not noise at night from the upper floors, like in other hotels, sometimes making it hard to sleep.”

“Loved the stay! Carpet only around the bed! Clearly they figured it out! Loved the shower and the bed was comfortable. Room and hotel were bright, clean, welcoming. The staff that greeted us were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back!”
