“Our cabin was very clean and neatly furnished. The deck looked over the lake. One bed was super soft and the other was firm. The kitchen had plates, utensils, etc. with a fridge and stove. The bathroom while tiny, had a showerhead with handle and enough towels for 2 people. The restaurant was busy, so reservation helped. The food was delicious. “We had the best stay here!! The history of the house was amazing and the owners have kept it original while adding the modern conveniences. Myself and my daughters stayed and we spent so much time trying to take in all the special touches like the history of the house and of Shirley, very cool to read about! And Duke the hounddog was the perfect touch, he roams Shirley getting love and food from everyone. Perfect place to stay so you're in the middle of all the towns to go and do and experience...

“We liked the cabin! We wanted to explore the area more, but the high temperatures and humidity made that impossible. The only downside was that I should have shut off the ice machine in the refrigerator. It kept waking me up. Excellent place to stay. ”
