“Booked this weekend for a relaxing weekend with the family. New owners giving it their all to get this place back in order! They were very accommodating and welcoming. Dock is under repair from storms and they are working with property across the river to get us out and fishing! Room was clean (could have used a back up supply of towels, and more dishes) but easy to overlook due the owners friendly southern charm! I would recommend this stay for anyone! “After checking in I parked and noticed cigarette butts in front of the doorway, maybe 7-10. I got in the room and pulled the comforter back to sit on the bed and immediately noticed that the sheets had not been changed. I pulled the top sheet back and there was a drop of bright red blood on the bottom sheet. “Thankful that I could book at the last minute for a group of 5. The check in experience was great. We arrived late (4am) and were able to get right in via an electronic door code. The beds were absolute heaven! Everyone in my group agreed. Best nights sleep I’ve had in months! I was pleasantly surprised to find enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc to last our entire stay. Usually rentals just give you one roll and you have to supply the rest.
