“We didn’t get the room we reserved due to no A/C. The desk clerk was high on something when trying to check in, could hardly understand her. Same way checking out. Observed her stumbling in the washer/dryer area. Room had live spiders in curtains, dead bugs in bathroom floor and hair on back of toilet tank. The whole property is very run down.”

“The room was very clean and the air conditioner super cold which was great .The front desk guy was personable and nice and had good restaurant recommendations. The cleaning lady was super sweet . Our only critique was the mattresses were super firm/hard.”

“This was our second stay at the Lucky Trout Resort. We just love the little cabins on the river. They are so cute, cozy, and very relaxing. The view of the river is great and it’s back in a woodsy area. It feels away from everything but it is still close to town, the lake, or anywhere else you want to go. The pool is clean and nice for swimming. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.”

“After checking in I parked and noticed cigarette butts in front of the doorway, maybe 7-10. I got in the room and pulled the comforter back to sit on the bed and immediately noticed that the sheets had not been changed. I pulled the top sheet back and there was a drop of bright red blood on the bottom sheet. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was no hand soap and there was an unknown spot on the hand towel. I went to the check in window which said “no refunds” and a woman came to...

“Room was clean. Staff was helpful when asked questions and excellent courtesy. Was happy to see the small appliances in the room. Was able to access the satellite service suitor issue.”

“Great location as far as the restaurant is in walking distance and another great restaurant right down the road, just about 5 miles for downtown Mountain View. Beautiful lake to sit on the deck and look at. You can not fish from your cabin, which was disappointing, the cabin is just basic. Clean and neat, but no amenities, whatsoever, but a beautiful location.”
